More about the Commercial Pack
With the increase in extreme weather conditions the likelihood of storm/flood damage, leaking roofs and water spillages to businesses across Australia is growing. Every business requires FloodSax to assist in the risk mitigation component of their safety management system.
If there is a water spill – you’re prepared
If there is a leak – you can absorb it
If there is a flood – you can act immediately
Weighing only 200 grams, you can simply lay FloodSax in front of the pending water and watch them expand to traditional sandbag size, holding 22 litres of water each.
Once the water’s in, it stays in and the bags act just like traditional sandbags. FloodSax can also be ‘energised’ well in advance of a flood with a bucket or hose. However if time’s against you the flood water will do the trick.
Apart from coping with outdoor floods, the super absorbency of FloodSax also makes them ideal for accidental water ingress from faulty pipes, leaking ceilings etc.
Take your FloodSax out of the bag and place in position, energise the bag using water from a hose, bucket, sink or the flood water itself and within minutes you are ready to protect your home or business.
Place expanded FloodSax in layers to build a barrier to the height required and ensure each bag is placed tightly against the previous bag to stop water seeping through cracks between bags.
FloodSax are super absorbent which makes them a great solution for accidental water damage such as a faulty internal sprinkler system, broken pipes, leaking ceilings and appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers and freezers.
To put FloodSax into action simply take the product out of the bag and place either under the leak or on top of the spill.
Each Commercial Pack bag will absorb up to 22 litres of water in about 3 minutes.
